Product context

Privee World is a social networking application built around cinematic storytelling. It allows people, creators, brands, and businesses to combine photos and videos into longer narratives instead of publishing each moment as an isolated post.

The product connects media creation with public discovery, private collections, selected audiences, and collaborative storytelling. Content can remain personal, be shared publicly, or be made available to specific groups.

My contribution

I worked on the Flutter application and the delivery of its media-focused experience for iOS and Android. My contribution centered on implementing product flows that connect capture, story playback, content organization, social interaction, profiles, and audience selection within one coherent mobile product.

Because this was client work, the case study focuses on the public product and my Flutter responsibilities rather than private source code, internal architecture, media infrastructure, or messaging implementation.

A media-first Flutter experience

Privee places visual content at the center of the interface. The Flutter application needs to move naturally between camera capture, existing media selection, immersive playback, and publishing while preserving the context of the story being created.

Playback brings together progress, audio, reactions, comments, and sharing around full-screen media. These controls remain available without taking attention away from the photo or video itself.

Public, private, and selected audiences

The application separates public and private spaces as primary product concepts. Users can organize personal movies, publish stories to their wider network, or create group movies for selected audiences.

This distinction needs to remain understandable across profiles, collections, publishing, and discovery. The interface makes the current space visible and keeps audience choices connected to the content they affect.

Stories that continue over time

Rather than treating every upload as a separate post, Privee organizes moments into movies and themed collections. This lets a story grow through additional photos, videos, perspectives, and related experiences.

Co-production extends that model by allowing multiple points of view to contribute to a shared narrative. The result is a social product structured around evolving stories instead of a conventional chronological feed.

Cross-platform delivery

Privee World is publicly available for iOS and Android. Flutter supports a consistent experience across camera and gallery access, media-rich layouts, immersive playback, social actions, profiles, notifications, and sharing controls on both platforms.
